CEREC RESTORATIONS
Porcelain restorations in ONE VISIT! That's right. This unique system uses a CAD/CAM computer software to acquire an image of your tooth after preparation for your inlay, onlay or crown. It uses diamond coated instruments to "mill" a ceramic (porcelain) block to reproduce the design. These restorations can preserve tooth structure that may have to be lost during a full crown preparation.
CLEAR ORTHODONTICS
We can straighten your teeth with a series of clear, customized, removable appliances called aligners instead of wires and brackets. The aligner is a thin, clear plastic piece that slips over the teeth, like a glove would fit on a hand. Hardly anyone knows that our adult patients are undergoing orthodontic treatment. And since the aligners are fully removable, there are no restrictions on what they can eat.
INTRAORAL CAMERA
The intraoral camera is used as a scanning device during oral examinations. This technology allows both the dentist and the patient to view a magnified picture of the teeth and gums on a television monitor. The camera enables us to see the health status of oral tissues, broken and cracked fillings or teeth, infections and more.
DIGITAL IMAGING (X-RAYS)
Digital imaging, or x-rays, are a faster method of acquiring an image of your teeth rather than taking a radiograph. It has been proven to reduce the exposure to radiation by 50 to 80%.
